Sangzi: Strengthening Hometown Bonds to Support Revitalization; Qian Yangnian Invited to Pingpu Town, Fanchang District New Year Gathering of Eminent Locals

On 2024 2, 20, the town of Pingpu in Fanchang District, Wuhu City, hosted a New Year's gathering for outstanding hometown representatives. Organized by the Pingpu Town Party Committee and People's Government, the event brought together leaders from the district United Front Work Department, the town's party and government leadership teams, village heads, successful hometown entrepreneurs living elsewhere, and rural revitalization partners at the Paper Kite Vanilla Garden to share nostalgia and discuss development plans. Qian Yangnian, General Manager of Suzhou Pinqi Electronics—a distinguished entrepreneur who hails from Pingpu—was invited as a representative. The event was covered by a special television report from the Fanchang Convergence Media Center. Prior to the meeting, all attendees toured key industrial projects in Pingpu, including the Wuhua Chicken Co-creation Base, the Wannan Tundun Tomb Group Cultural Exhibition Hall, the CAS Fuxi Farm, and the Paper Kite Vanilla Garden, gaining first-hand insight into the town's progress in rural revitalization, integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism, and modern agricultural development. During the symposium, the Pingpu Town Mayor briefed the guests on the town's economic and social development achievements. A new list of rural revitalization partners was announced, followed by a certification ceremony. As a representative speaker, Qian Yangnian fondly recalled his formative years in his hometown and expressed deep emotional ties to his roots. He emphasized that despite building his career elsewhere, he remains committed to his hometown's development. Looking ahead, he pledged to leverage his company's industry resources to establish a business and trade bridge between Suzhou and Fanchang, actively facilitating investment attraction, talent exchange, and industrial upgrades to support Pingpu's rural revitalization efforts.
